Café
Our NEW Meadow Café
West Suffolk Crematorium opened in 1989, providing a much-needed service for the people of Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding towns and villages of West Suffolk. Families come to us from far and wide to use our facilities and it has been felt for some time that we needed to offer more to our visitors – somewhere to get a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of home-made cake after a long journey, or a bit of lunch before or after a funeral. We also wanted to offer somewhere for our many regular visitors to have some refreshments too – those families that come to us to visit the resting place of their loved ones. We believe that the café can become a welcoming place for families and friends to meet and gather on special days or anniversaries.
The café is open to everybody from Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 4.00pm. It is light and airy with large windows overlooking a private garden with terraced area and additional seating. The cafe and hospitality suites have their own car park at the front, and there are toilets and baby changing facilities inside.
We have a fully-fitted professional kitchen and all our food is home-cooked on the premises using the finest ingredients.
We look forward to seeing you!
